John Chavez will present on the wealth management planning process that investors should follow to make thoughtful financial decisions. The core presentation will cover the tools we use to analyze and develop customized plans, which will lead to detailed conversations about how and why you should consider integrating planning goals, short-term and long-term tax consequences, insurance needs, and estate planning consequences in the financial decisions. The meeting framework is designed to include the key elements of developing and executing a plan.

John’s commitment to a holistic approach to wealth management serves as the foundation for his practice. His philosophy is simple: invest with purpose and pursue the steps necessary to understand what purpose means to each client. He specializes in developing and executing wealth management strategies for families and closely held businesses.
John joined Merrill Lynch in 1994 after graduating from the University of Washington School of Business. He later earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation, issued by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc, in support of the wealth management concepts he employs for his clients. John enjoys serving as a student mentor and shares his time with a variety of non-profit organizations in the Puget Sound region.
